Event activity and fundraising ideas

There are loads of ways to get involved in this year's Loneliness Awareness Week from 12th - 18th June 2023. From coffee mornings and meeting your neighbours, to sponsored runs to film nights and cake sales, fundraising is a brilliant way to support our charity and connect with others.

  • Smile at someone new

  • Pause for a 5-min chat

  • Share something that makes you feel connected

  • Meet your neighbours

  • Meet a friend or colleague for coffee

  • Hold a street party

  • Put loneliness on a work meeting agenda

  • Plan a sponsored run, sports day or skills-swap

  • Host a bingo, quiz or movie night

  • Donate a drink, meal, or fitness/ wellbeing class
