Making an impact

Loneliness Awareness Week 2025

About the campaign

Launched by Marmalade Trust in 2017, Loneliness Awareness Week is a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and creating supportive communities by having open, honest conversations.

Loneliness is a feeling most of us will experience - but stigma stops us from talking about it and prevents us from facing it together. That’s why the campaign tagline for Loneliness Awareness Week 2025 was Meeting Loneliness Together. By talking about loneliness openly and meeting it together, we can reduce stigma and build more compassionate, connected communities.

"I'd definitely be more confident in discussing loneliness in the future, and I'll be exploring more community work with young adults at risk of loneliness."
