During Loneliness Awareness Week, 15-21 June, organisations across the UK and beyond are creating spaces for conversations, connection, and action around loneliness in professional settings.
This year’s theme, Acceptance: Giving Loneliness a Voice, encourages us to talk more openly about loneliness and create workplaces and communities where people feel heard, supported, and connected.
From workplace panels and networking sessions to global summits and community-led conversations, here are some business-focused events taking place during the week.

Share an Orange Day
As part of the week, we’re also encouraging everyone to take part in Share an Orange Day on Wednesday 17 June, a simple way to start conversations and spread connection in your workplace, school, or community.
Whether it’s sharing oranges during a team break, checking in with someone, or starting a conversation about loneliness, small actions can help give loneliness a voice.
You can explore even more events on the Connections Map throughout Loneliness Awareness Week.
